Lead the WAi How-to Guides

Onboarding

Onboarding is the process of getting access to Lead the WAi and setting up your workspace for the first time.

You’ll go through a short series of steps. By the end, your account will be connected, your workspace will be set up, and you’ll be ready to start using the platform.

To start onboarding, go to runwai.waiforward.co.uk/onboarding.

1. Account

Onboarding step 1 showing account login or sign-up options.

The first step is to connect or create your WAi Forward account.

If you already have an account, click Log in and sign in as usual.

If you’re new, click Sign up and create an account using your email, name, and a password. You’ll also need to accept the terms and complete a quick verification step.

Once you’re signed in, click Continue to move forward. You won’t be able to proceed without an account.

2. Access

Onboarding step 2 showing platform and resource access selection.

Next, you’ll choose what you want to work with.

You’ll see a list of areas you can enable. These control what appears in your workspace.

For example:

  • Leads help you track potential customers
  • Posts are used for creating and publishing content
  • Messages handle outreach and conversations
  • Appointments are for scheduling meetings

You don’t need to overthink this. Choose what feels relevant to you right now. You can adjust things later if needed.

Note: Access is currently limited during the beta. You’ll only be able to use what you’ve been invited to, even if you select more here.

Click Continue when you’re ready.

3. Your details

You’ll now start setting up your profile.

First, you’ll be asked to write a short description about yourself. This helps the system understand your role and can save you time by filling in some details automatically.

After that, you’ll enter your personal information, including your name, job role, country, and date of birth. This is used to personalise your experience and make sure everything is set up correctly.

There’s also an optional phone number field if you want to provide it.

Once everything looks right, click Continue.

4. Company details

Next, you’ll set up your company.

Start with a short description. This gives the system context about what your business does.

You’ll then fill in a few key details, such as your company name, industry, and team size. There are also optional fields like your website and tagline.

This step helps shape your workspace so it reflects how your business operates.

Click Continue to move on.

5. Beta disclaimer

Onboarding step 5 showing the beta disclaimer agreement.

Before finishing, you’ll need to accept the beta agreement.

This explains that the platform is still being developed and may change over time. It also highlights that you should review any important outputs and avoid uploading sensitive information.

Take a moment to read through it. When you’re ready, tick the box and click Accept and continue.

6. Complete

Onboarding step 6 showing onboarding completion confirmation.

Once you’ve accepted the terms, onboarding is complete.

You’ll see a confirmation message, and your workspace will be ready to use.
